What does Acceptable Use Mean?
Acceptable Use means that you will use your time and Idaho Digital Learning resources the right way. This entails things like working on your class when you are supposed to and not wandering around the Internet doing other things, being respectful to your classmates, and using appropriate language. Mrs. H has some tips to share with you about using your time and resources wisely. Check it out.
Let's re-cap: So to use your time and resources wisely ...
- Work on your class when you are supposed to be working in your class
- Don't flame, phish or do anything illegal (i.e. hacking, release viruses)
- Be polite to your fellow classmates (don't harass, defame, threaten, or be racially offensive)
- Use appropriate language (no obscenities, rude, or abusive language)
Like the Academic Honesty Policy, if you choose not to follow the Acceptable Use Policy there are disciplinary consequences. If you want to know more of details about acceptable use, you can read the Idaho Digital Learning Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). This document can also be found on the Idaho Digital Learning website under the Students/Parents tab, on the Resources & Manuals page.
