I am so excited you have enrolled in an online class!
I'm Mrs. H, and I'll be here every step of the way to guide you through Orientation Class. Together, we will learn how to get around in your course and turn in your assignments. The great thing about online classes is that you can do your assignments anytime and anywhere you have Internet access. Before you can begin work in your regular class though, you need to pass this Orientation Class by 5 p.m. on the Monday that your class begins. You can do it!
The page you are on now is called "Announcements." This is like the "home page" for your course and will be the first page you see when you log into your class. This is where your teacher will post important tips and information about your upcoming assignments. You can access this page from anywhere in your course by clicking the "Announcements" button in the menu at the left of the screen.
Take a look at the menu on the left. You'll notice there are several buttons that look like they might help you get around and find useful information in your course. We will explore these throughout the Orientation class, so don't start clicking just yet.
